Delphi is thirty-five kilometres from the hotel, a drive of around half an hour up through the olive groves and into the mountains. For centuries it was considered the centre of the ancient world.
Going early
The site is quieter and considerably cooler first thing in the morning. If you want an early start, tell reception the evening before and we will serve breakfast before the usual hours, or pack it for you to take in the car.
Making a day of it
Most guests visit the archaeological site and its museum in the morning and are back in Galaxidi in time to swim. Staying here rather than up at Delphi means you finish the day by the sea.
